Q. When can I start teaching
A. If you have a minimum of 3 years martial arts experience and based on passing your 2nd Intensive weekend of Basic training you will be signed off to teach under the BKMO on the proviso you finish the complete instructor program.
Q. What dates is Basic Training
A. the Basic program is run over two weekends.
Q. What if I have no Martial Arts Experience
A. We have previously had special consideration for present and Ex security, prison officers, ex-military, Police and fitness professionals where they are placed on a Martial Arts apprenticeship program which ensures 96 hours are completed before teaching. Now we have opened our doors to anyone who wishes to try out providing they are fit and proper for the role. I.e clean criminal back ground etc. Training is carried out on a bi-monthly basis on a Sunday so as not to conflict with your week.
Q. Will you be holding courses in other parts of the country
A. Yes, but at present in Manchester. If we have a group of 8 people in an area, we will arrange courses there too.
Q. Once Qualified will I get exclusivity for my area
A. In the past we have given exclusivity and seen instructors squander the opportunity however we are willing to honour exclusivity if you can provide us with your growth plan for the future.
Q. Will I have options to grow my CV with other Qualifications.
A. Yes, we have Israeli links which will open doors to many other events we have throughout the year.
Q. Will I get any support to grow my school
A. Yes, we even have a partnership program but in light of the fact we have been running pro schools since 2001 we can provide you with tried and tested methods of growing your school.
Q. Is there any progression after my first Basic Course
A. Yes. If you are an active BKMO member you will have a BKMO weekend for your next level and you will have access to take part in our refreshers.
Q. How much is the Complete Basic Course?
A. The basic instructor course is £399
However if you are going the apprenticeship route please contact us first as you will
have 96 hours to complete before certification.
Q. How many months material is Basic Training?
A. Basic training covers 6 months teaching material for your school and level 2 covers the following 6 months.
Q. Is there a way of test driving your program first.
A. Yes, attend our sunday 1 day intensive event and instructor trials which is normally £99 however a promotional offer just £49 for this event and if we are right for each other at the end we can have the option to return for our basic certification weekend. Q. If you fit the requirements and would like to begin the process how do I book.
A. Simply book via our facebook events link and we will send you confirmation and a pre-licence agreement which needs to be completed before you begin training. You do not need to complete a pre-licence agreement if you are just test driving the program.
